It got me wondering if some of this tech could be helpful to ELLs in the classroom.

I know that you can set Google Slides to caption what is being said, and that Microsoft PowerPoint will actually provide simultaneous translated captions. Though, unless you share the slides to students on their laptops, it’s probably difficult for them to see the words on the screen.

Could Google Live Transcribe (only available on Android phones) or the iPhone’s Live Captions have value to students in class?
