CMA Exam Eligibility & Structure

The CMA exam has two parts:

Part 1: Financial Planning, Performance & Analytics
Part 2: Strategic Financial Management

You can take them in any order during exam windows (Jan-Feb, May-Jun, Sep-Oct).

The eligibility requirements for the US CMA are simple and reachable. You can begin your CMA journey right now if you’re a professional like a CA or ACCA, an MBA candidate, or a commerce graduate. You can pass both exam sections and gain access to global career opportunities in accounting and finance with the right study and coaching.

Joining IMA and registering for the test is the next step if you qualify. You will become a globally recognized US CMA more quickly if you begin early.
