New Delhi: Students of the University of Delhi can now view their internal assessment (IA) and tutorial (TU) marks through their accounts on the Samarth portal.
Providing this information, the Controller of Examinations, Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, stated that the current semester’s marks were uploaded to the portal and are now accessible to students through their Samarth portal accounts.
He also noted that specific deadlines have been established for colleges, departments, centres, and institutions to submit IA and TU marks online.
The last date for the 4th and 6th semesters is May 24, 2025, and for the 2nd semester, it is June 17, 2025. Professor Tuteja urged students to promptly log in to the Samarth portal and carefully review their IA and TU marks.
“In case of any discrepancies or missing entries, students must report the issue to their respective departments, centres, or colleges within one week of the respective submission deadline. Under no circumstances will requests for corrections be entertained after the stipulated period,” said an official.
Through this move, the university aims to address a long-standing demand for greater transparency in the evaluation process. Until now, these marks were not uploaded to the portal. Students had to wait for the final result, which displayed only grades, to get an idea of their academic performance. With the new change, students will be able to view their marks for the ongoing semester’s IA and TU ahead of the final results.
