A little over a year ago I published I Think Quizizz Interactive Videos With AI-Generated Questions May Become Ubiquitous In Classrooms – For Now.

It was amazing – pop in the url of any YouTube video and Quizizz would turn it into an engaging interactive video with a bunch of good questions (that were editable by the teacher).

It was soooooo helpful to me and my classes.

Then, shortly afterward, YouTube did something and sites like Quizizz were no longer able to use Artificial Intelligence to make these kinds of interactives, and many of us teachers were disappointed, to say the least.

Today, however, Quizizz (who is going to change its name shortly), announced that IT’S BACK!

I tried it out, and, it is, indeed, back!
