Lucknow University VC offers edu support to kin of Pahalgam terrorist attack victims, ET Education
Lucknow: Lucknow University has announced to offer full educational support to the families of those who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terrorist attack on Apr 22.
LU vice-chancellor Prof Alok Kumar Rai released a video message on the university’s official YouTube channel in which he condemned the attack and offered complete support to the families of the victims.
“On Apr 22, a brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, claimed the lives of 26 civilians of our country. Condemning this heinous act, the entire Lucknow University family, along with myself, strongly denounce this attack in the harshest terms. As the Vice Chancellor of the university, I would like to state that if any family of these 26 victims wishes to pursue education at Lucknow University, they are most welcome,” he said.
“The university family will bear all their educational expenses, including tuition fees, books, accommodation, and meals, throughout their studies. We all pray that the souls of the deceased find peace,” said Prof Rai.
