Prayagraj: The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a consortium of reputed institutions and organisations from the Czech Republic under the European Union (EU) Ministry of Education.

This partnership aims to foster academic and research collaboration, promote faculty and student exchange programmes and facilitate joint initiatives in areas of technology, innovation and higher education.

The MoU is expected to open new avenues for cross-border knowledge sharing, collaborative research projects and global learning opportunities, contributing to the institute’s vision of internationalisation as envisaged in India’s National Education Policy (NEP).

Director, IIIT-A, Prof Mukul Sharad Sutaone said that this collaboration will serve as a bridge between India and the EU region, encouraging a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and global cooperation. This MoU marks step towards strengthening IIIT-A’s international collaborations.
