The creator of the Universal Turing Machine has written a short essay about each year of his life, and will shortly be opening it up for others to contribute their own versions of it.

It’s an interesting idea, and I wonder if something like this could be adapted to the classroom. Perhaps, if provided with a short paragraph frame/graphic organizer, students could be asked to pick three years out of their lives to write about – perhaps a paragraph each, perhaps longer?
