Here’s a final picture of my classroom from today.

I’ve retired from K-12 classroom teaching after 23 years.

I’m not leaving the world of education — I’ll continue to write about education here and in my Ed Week column, and plan to be a volunteer teacher for the incarcerated.

I’ll also be organizing against the many destructive policies of the Trump administration.
