Earlier in the school year I posted A Pretty Cool Review Activity I’m Doing With My ELL Newcomers.

In it, I described how I was adapting an idea I heard about from The TEFL Zone blog.

Basically, I had a peer tutor regularly update a Quizizz with different types of questions covering each of the thematic units we covered in class.

Periodically, students take the Quizizz as a review, and it can also serve as a simple assessment to determine the English-level of new incoming students.
