LinkedIn has a game called Pinpoint. It shows you one word, and give you an opportunity to guess what category you have in mind. You guess it, and if it’s incorrect it will then show you another word. Most ELL teachers do a category game with students where the teacher gives them a category, and then students have to write down items in it. This Pinpoint “take” on categories would be a fun new kind of category version to play in class. I’m adding this info to The Best Ideas For Using Games In The ESL/EFL/ELL Classroom.
