A Construction Sound Story and Soundboard
Let’s Build! A Building Site Sound Story and Soundboard
Construction sites are places of great excitement for many young children. The big machines, the busy workers, and the fascinating noises offer a world of wonder. This simple, rhyming sound story, combined with an interactive soundboard, provides a fun way for children to explore the sounds of a building site. It would be great for SEN or EFYS classes. I always write my stories with the idea they can be used with older learners as well.
Using the soundboard alongside the story enhances engagement, helps with sound recognition, and makes storytime an active experience. Remember to use enthusiastic voices and actions when reading aloud! Your child may also like our Transport Sound Story as well. We have tried to make this story as useful as possible for you. So we wrote the fully contained online version, provided the story, and provided a soundboard if you just wanted to use the sounds and provided the story as a free downloadable PDF.
