
Govt teacher suspended for holding director post in pvt companies without approval, ETEducation
Khargone: A govt school teacher was suspended on Monday for allegedly holding post of director in two private companies without obtaining govt approval.
According to official information, Khargone collector Bhavya Mittal suspended Ravi Shankar Mahajan, a higher-grade teacher at Devi Ahilya Government Higher Secondary School No. 2, Khargone, following an inquiry into a complaint filed through CM Helpline.
Mahajan was found to be serving as a director in two companies while working in govt service. The complaint also alleged that Mahajan was involved in purchase and sale of properties and financial transactions without prior permission from the govt. Upon verification, the inquiry report confirmed the allegations to be true.
