Quill Unveils New Free AI Curriculum That MAY Be Worth Considering
I really like the online tool Quill, have posted a lot about it, and often used it with my students.
Today, they announced a new free AI curriculum:
Building on Quill’s Reading for Evidence tool and aiEDU’s nationally recognized AI Snapshots curricula, the curriculum weaves critical thinking about artificial intelligence directly into daily literacy and STEM instruction for students in grades 8-12.
What is the Curriculum?
21 instructional modules designed for grades 8–12
10-minute aiEDU warm-ups paired with 15-minute Quill activities
Grouped into packs of three by theme
Each module:
Teaches a foundational AI concept (e.g., computer vision, large language models, voice cloning)
Explores real-world applications of AI in society
Aligns to an aiEDU “AI Snapshot” activity for added discussion, extensions, and classroom engagement
I haven’t gone through it with a fine-tooth comb, but it looks decent based on my quick review. And, as I said earlier, Quill has a great track record.
I’m adding this info to A Beginning List Of The Best Resources For Teaching About Artificial Intelligence.
