
Six Chhattisgarh professors ranked among world’s top 2% scientists, ETEducation
RAIPUR: Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU), Raipur, has achieved a notable academic distinction, with six of its faculty members being recognised among the world’s top 2% scientists. This is based on a global database prepared by Stanford University and published by Elsevier.
The recognised faculty members are Prof. Shailendra Saraf, Prof. Swarnlata Saraf, Prof. Manju Singh, Prof. Deependra Singh, and Prof. Amber Vyas, all from the University Institute of Pharmacy, and Prof. Kamlesh Srivas from the School of Studies in Chemistry.
The Stanford-Elsevier list is a prestigious international ranking. It is compiled based on citation indicators such as research productivity, quality of publications, and impact factor. Inclusion in this list reflects significant contributions to scientific research and global academic recognition.
PRSU’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sachchidanand Shukla, said the recognition enhances the university’s national and international standing. He also said that the acknowledgment of research excellence will inspire young scholars and students to pursue impactful and innovative research.
This recognition strengthens Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University’s position on the global academic map, highlighting the growing prominence of Central India in the fields of Pharmacy and Chemistry.
