The Rand Corporation published Lost in Translation — Teachers Report Feeling Unprepared to Support Multilingual Learners: Findings from the 2024 American Instructional Resources Survey.

It’s worth reading the entire report, which gives a pretty thorough analysis of teacher responses about ELL instruction.

Unfortunately, its recommendations for rectifying the issues raised in the responses seem pretty weak and non-specific to me.
