JBCN Group secures dual recognition for K-12 and Preschool Excellence at the ET Education Annual Education Excellence Awards 2025, ETEducation
In a significant acknowledgement of its work across the K-12 education landscape, JBCN Education has been awarded a gold in the Outstanding K-12 School Group category at the 2025 edition of the ET Education Annual Education Excellence Awards. The jury, comprising leading names in education, governance, and academia, evaluated hundreds of nominations across the country before selecting JBCN for the Gold award.
Children’s Nook — the group of preschools was awarded the Outstanding Preschool Chain, highlighting the group’s integrated approach to learning across age groups.
With five high school campuses and two preschool campuses in Mumbai offering International Barraculate, Cambridge and ICSE programmes, JBCN Education has, over the last two decades, has implemented the group’s unique EduCreative philosophy — which blends interdisciplinary thinking with academic structure and learner agency — forming the backbone of its model.
Speaking on the recognition, Kunal Dalal, Managing Director of JBCN Education, said, “We’re proud of the awards, but more importantly, we value what they represent — that consistent, learner-first education across age groups is needed. Our win reflects an ecosystem that celebrates curiosity, determination, and collaboration. It reinforces our commitment to transform potential into purpose.”
At the early childhood level, Children’s Nook — with centres in Gamdevi and Tardeo — has continued to focus on foundational learning rooted in play, expression and early-stage literacy. Built on more than four decades of experience, the preschool’s model draws from a mix of Montessori, Play Way and Indian Gurukul systems, adapted to contemporary contexts.
The ET Education Annual Education Excellence Awards, now in their eighth year, aim to identify institutions setting new benchmarks in pedagogy, governance, community engagement and learner development. This year’s edition saw a record number of entries from across metros and smaller cities alike, reflecting the growing competitiveness and diversity of India’s education sector.
With upcoming plans to expand its school network and invest in new areas such as teacher training, EdTech content, and impact-driven partnerships, JBCN Education appears focused on long-term growth.
For now, though, the dual recognition — at both the school and preschool level — serves as a moment of reflection for the group: a chance to look back at its progress while continuing to build on its stated mission — to empower learners to become Changemakers and leaders of the future.
