Ed Tech Digest | Larry Ferlazzo’s Websites of the Day…
Ten years ago, in another somewhat futile attempt to reduce the backlog of resources I want to share, I began this occasional “Ed Tech Digest” post where I share three or four links I think are particularly useful and related to…ed tech, including some Web 2.0 apps.
You might also be interested in checking out all my edtech resources.
Here are this week’s choices:
Teachers Want Hard Questions Asked Before Adding Tech is from Edutopia. I’m adding it to The Best Posts & Articles Highlighting Why We Need To Be Very Careful Around Ed Tech.
9 Teacher-Tested Apps to Enhance Math Instruction is from Edutopia. I’m adding it to The Best Apps, Online Tools & Other Resources For Math.
MapTales lets you create stories out of…maps. I’m adding it to The Best Map-Making Sites On The Web.
Mostly Public Domain Image Search lets you search multiple public domain image sites at one time. I’m adding it to The Best Online Sources For Images.
Earlier this year, Google announced lots of new features to those districts who are paying for the premium version of Google For Education. One of them seems to be a version of “Go Guardian” where you can observe all students’ screens. I’m not a big fan of that practice, and prefer just walking around. But, to each their own.
Voice Math offers interactive…math practice with your voice.
