
Arunachal edu dept inks MoU with AQEF, Education News, ET Education
Itanagar: Looking to transform the education system, the state education department recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Adhyayan Quality Education Foundation (AQEF).
Focussing on holistic development of schools, with a special emphasis on strengthening their complexes, state education commissioner Amjak Tak said, “This MoU marks an important milestone in our efforts to uplift the quality of education in Arunachal Pradesh. Strengthening school complexes will allow for shared resources, peer learning and better teacher support, benefiting the students,” he said.
The collaboration aims to enhance the quality of education through multiple initiatives, including improving teaching practices, fostering community involvement, strengthening leadership and governance and activating school complexes as vibrant learning hubs.
Adopting a systemic approach, the initiative envisions schools not only as centres of academic excellence, but also as nurturing environments for overall student development.
The programme was attended key state officials, including education secretary Duly Kamduk, joint secretary Namgyal Angmo, SCERT director Toko Babu, SCERT deputy director Drema Ringu, OSD to education minister Pema Norbu Thongchi and AQEF director Manju Gupta.
