How to Deliver the Sound Story

   • If you decide to extend the sound story from auditory only gather any sensory props you might like (e.g., a soft fabric for bunnies, colourful egg images, or natural items from the garden). We do have a full Easter Sensory Story (RE).
   • Prepare your soundboard or recorded sound clips with the effects listed below.
2. Introduction:
   • Explain to the learners that you are about to take them on a magical Easter adventure, where special sounds help tell the story.
   • Demonstrate one or two sound effects to build excitement and familiarity.
3. Storytelling:
   • Read each couplet slowly and clearly, ensuring each sound effect is audible.
   • After each couplet, play the corresponding sound from the soundboard.
   • Encourage the children to repeat the sound or show a corresponding action (like hopping like a bunny).
4. Engagement:
   • Ask simple questions such as, “What sound did you hear?” or “Can you hop like our little bunnies?”
   • Allow time for the children to respond, ensuring each sound is experienced fully before moving on.
5. Repetition:
   • I would encourage repeating the story over several sessions to build anticipation and strengthen the sensory associations.
