Karnataka KEA KREIS Class 6 Admission 2025: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has started the entrance test and online counselling process for admission to class 6 in residential schools for the academic year 2025-26. Eligible candidates candidates can now regsiter on the official website (kreis.karnataka.gov.in or https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/) .

Karnataka KEA KREIS Class 6 Admission 2025: Eligibility criteria

While children studying in class 5 are eligible to apply, the annual family income limit for applying varies depending on the category. It should be mentioned that the annual family income limit for P. Caste/Scheduled Class is Rs. 5,25,000. However, the annual family income limit for Hin.Varga Varga-1 is also Rs. 5,25,000. The annual family income limit for categories 22, 24, 32A, 32B, 36, and 37 is Rs. 5,10,000/-.

While parents can apply online from January 11, 2025 (4.00 PM) to January 25, 2025 (11.59 PM) through the websites of residential schools/colleges functioning under the Karnataka Association of Residential Educational Institutions (KREIS), the application procedure and the “Information Book-2025” can be found on the KEA website: http://kea.kar.nic.in

Karnataka KEA KREIS Class 6 Admission 2025: Entrance Test details

Parents should note that the KEA will conduct the entrance exam on February 15, 2025. However, admit cards for the exam can be downloaded from the KEA and KREIS websites from February 6, 2025.

Karnataka KEA KREIS Class 6 Admission 2025:Selection Process

While applying online candidates should select the schools in their preferred order, only schools listed in the priority order will be considered for allotment.

It should be mentioned that seats will be allotted through computerized selection based on the entrance test score, reservation category, and the priority order of schools entered by the candidate.
