
72 teachers selected for state teacher’s award, ETEducation
Patna: The department of education has released the list of 72 teachers selected for the State Teacher’s Award, 2025. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sept 5 at Srikrishna Memorial Hall, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a revered philosopher and former President of India.
This year’s honorees include teachers from across Bihar, reflecting the diversity and dedication within the state’s education system. Of the 72 awardees, 49 are principals, while 23 are teachers and assistant teachers. The list features both male and female recipients, with a significant number of female awardees.
Among the 72 educators selected for the State Teacher’s Award 2025, three are from Patna district: Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi, headmaster of a Isopur school; Ankita Kumari, a teacher at PKM Mahadev Uchcha Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Khusrupur; Vikrant Dubey, an assistant teacher at Uchcha Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Maner;
The districts from where these teachers belong to include, Muzaffarpur (2), Vaishali (2), Nawada (2), Buxar (3), Rohtas (1), Saran (1), Araria (3), Bhagalpur (2), Gaya (2), Jamui (2), Darbhanga (2), Siwan (3), Gopalganj (3), Kaimur (2), Khagaria (2), Samastipur (2), Purnia (2), Sitamarhi (2), Kishanganj (2), Purvi Champaran (3), Paschim Champaran (2), Madhubani (2), Begusarai (2), Lakhisarai (2), Aurangabad (2), Bhojpur (2), Munger (2), Madhepura (2), Nalanda (2), Arwal (1), Sheikhpura (1), Jehanabad (1), Saharsa (2), Supaul (1), and Banka (1).
District education officials have been instructed to notify the selected teachers and ensure their attendance at the award ceremony. All lodging and logistical arrangements for them will be coordinated by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Patna.
