The candidates may note that they can check the MP NEET PG 2024 merit list by visiting the official website. According to the released counseling schedule, the candidates can make fresh choices for the second round of admissions by 6 January 2025. The seat allotment result will be released on 8 January 2025.Â
The DME has also issued an advisory for round 2 counseling, a list of eligible candidates, a list of candidates who opted for upgradation, a list of candidates who are satisfied with round 1 seats, and round 2 vacancies.
MP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Important instructions
The candidates will have to complete fresh choice-filling and choice-locking on the portal within the specified time limit. Except for phase 1 candidates and those who have resigned after being allotted a seat, candidates who wish to make changes in their registration will be given a final opportunity to make necessary changes before the second phase of counseling, within the prescribed time limit.Â
No further opportunity will be given after the deadline. To participate in the second round, candidates who are eligible under the unreserved category for state quota postgraduate courses will need to pay an advance fee of Rs 25,000 for government colleges, and Rs 12,500 for reserved category candidates during choice-filling for the second phase.Â
For private colleges, the advance fee will be Rs 2 lakh. For NRI quota candidates, the fee will be Rs 10 lakh. This advance fee will be adjusted as per the rules. For candidates who have already been admitted in the first phase in government/private colleges, the advance fee for the second phase will be adjusted against the academic fee they paid during the first phase.Â
Candidates who did not get allotment in the first phase must pay the advance fee as mentioned above for choice filling in the second phase. In the second phase of counseling, candidates from Madhya Pradesh (local domicile) and candidates from outside the state (non-domicile) will be able to participate in choice-filling and choice-locking for allotment.Â
In the second phase, allotment will be given first to local domicile candidates. If local domicile candidates are not available on the merit list, the allotment will be given to non-domicile candidates based on merit. Candidates are advised to write down their choices (preferences) in advance before entering them on the portal so that they do not face any confusion while filling out their choices.Â
Candidates should not choose colleges whose prescribed fees they are unable to pay. It is hereby clarified that if a candidate does not take admission after allocation, the advance amount deposited for the second phase will be forfeited, and they will not be eligible for counseling in subsequent phases.Â
Candidates who are newly allocated a seat in the second phase or those whose college, subject, or category has been upgraded must take admission in the newly allocated institution within the prescribed time limit (second phase). If they do not take admission, the advance amount deposited will be forfeited.Â
Candidates who are allotted a seat in the second phase, as well as candidates who were allotted a seat in the first phase but did not receive an upgrade in the second phase, can opt for an upgrade in the mop-up phase. Candidates who were given the option for an upgrade but were not upgraded in the second phase will remain in their previously allotted institution.Â
No action is required from them. They can register for an upgrade in the mop-up phase. Candidates who were given the option for an upgrade in the second phase but did not fill out their choices for the second phase will remain in the seat allotted to them in the first phase. However, such candidates will not be eligible for an upgrade in the mop-up phase. After the allotment results are declared, candidates can download their allotment letter from their login ID and take a printout.Â
Newly allotted candidates must report to the allocated institution within the declared time limit (counseling schedule) and get their original documents verified by the admission committee of the institution. The list of required documents will be mentioned in the proforma. Eligible candidates must submit all their original documents to the admission committee.Â
Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the first phase of counseling must submit the following documents after upgrading to the newly allocated college: the list of original documents submitted with the first-phase admission slip, the document verification receipt, and the second-phase allotment letter.Â
They must also pay the admission fee for the newly allotted college online (which will be adjusted against the academic fee paid in the first phase). In case the candidate has paid an excess amount for the admission fee on the portal, the excess amount will be refunded after the counseling process is completed. Online payment can be made via net banking, debit card, credit card, or RTGS.Â
Candidates can choose more than one payment option. Candidates should ensure that internet banking is available on their account and that there are sufficient funds in their account. After payment of the fee, the college will issue the online admission slip to the candidate. In the case of a refund, it will be processed to the registered bank account provided during the registration process, once the counseling procedure is completed.
