School principals say that if you get admission to this list, you should take it immediately. Parents can now take admission between February 5 to 11 and can raise objections regarding the list. If seats remain vacant, schools will release the third list on February 26.Â
In the second list, there are many parents whose children have not made it even after the first list and now, they are not in the second list either. For these parents, the chances of admission in prestigious schools are now low. However, those who did not get their preferred school may have a chance in the third list if seats remain vacant. Â
Many parents who got their preferred seat in the second list may opt to give up their first seat, which will increase their chances of admission. After the release of the second list, some parents have raised allegations that schools are asking for money in exchange for admissions, while some are offering seats under the management quota. Several schools conducted lotteries on Monday, after which they will release the list of selected children. Â
EWS and Disadvantaged Category Application Process Begins
The online application process for admission to 25% of seats reserved for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS-DG) and Divyang (disabled) categories in private schools for nursery admission began on Monday. Based on this process, parents can apply on the Directorate of Education’s website until February 19.Â
The first computerized draw for school allocation will be held on March 5. The date for document verification and final admission will be released after the draw. The application form for admission is available on the Directorate of Education’s website.Â
Only one application form will be accepted for admission; if multiple online applications are submitted, the form will be canceled. The Directorate has clarified that if there is any discrepancy between the online submitted form and the documents later submitted, admission will not be granted.
