
21 GEC Bhojpur students hired by Kolkata firm, ETEducation
Ara: A total of 21 engineering students from Govt Engineering College (GEC) Bhojpur have secured campus placements with a Kolkata-based company, marking a significant achievement for the institute’s training and placement efforts. The selected students—from electrical, mechanical and instrumentation streams—have been offered annual packages ranging from Rs3.5 to Rs4.75 lakh after probation, reflecting strong industry confidence in the college’s technical talent.The training and placement officer of GEC Bhojpur, Amritanshu Raushan, on Monday said, “The selection of 13 students from electrical engineering, seven from mechanical engineering and one from instrumentation engineering reflects the institute’s strong multi-disciplinary performance,” said Raushan.Congratulating the students, principal Pankaj Kumar Srivastav described the achievement as a testament to the students’ hard work and the institute’s focus on outcome-based technical education. He also appreciated the consistent efforts of the training and placement cell in strengthening industry linkages.Announcing upcoming placement drives scheduled for Jan 20 and 21, the training and placement officer urged students to make the most of the opportunities ahead. “We assure aspirants continuous mentoring and institutional support. Strong technical fundamentals, disciplined preparation and self-confidence are vital ingredients of success,” he said.
