
Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM honours teachers, highlights education reforms, ETEducation
Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya participated in a Teacher’s Day event held at the district panchayat auditorium on Friday. On this occasion, 513 teachers were honoured with certificates and mementos for their outstanding contributions to the field of education.
In his address, Maurya emphasised the revered status of teachers and praised Prayagraj for its rich tradition of nurturing talent across educational fields. He further stated that no country can progress without strong education, and teachers play a vital role in laying its foundation.
Highlighting the govt’s strict action against examination malpractices, Maurya asserted that India’s competition is no longer limited to its states but with the world’s leading countries. He saluted teachers, saying their blessings and education have empowered Indian talents to shine globally. The Deputy CM also referred to Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla’s achievements and mentioned that PM Narendra Modi expressed confidence in soon establishing India’s own space station.
Maurya highlighted the critical role teachers play in nation-building. He stressed the importance of guiding students to use mobile phones constructively . Praising the leadership of PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath, he outlined the govt’s goal to uplift the poor by integrating their children into mainstream education.
