Rajasthan Education Minister Orders Removal of Encroachments from Government Schools, ETEducation
Jaipur: Education minister Madan Dilawar Friday instructed officials to remove encroachments from govt schools in Rajasmand.
“If encroachments are not removed from schools and are found during inspections, then action will be taken against the department officials along with school authorities,” he said.
During a surprise inspection of four schools in Rajsamand Thursday, the minister came across a temple and a tomb inside the school campuses of two schools. He expressed his displeasure after finding the religious sites inside the school and called it a violation of govt instructions. He said that strict action will now be taken against school principals if religious sites are found inside schools.
“No religious sites or illegal encroachments will be tolerated in any govt school in Rajasthan. If such sites are found in any school, strict action will be taken against the head of the institution,” he said.
