Chandigarh: Six students from Govt Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 16-D, along with principal Seema Rani and teachers, visited the office of director school education (DSE), Nitish Singla, for an interactive session Tuesday.

During the interaction, students asked a range of questions on career paths, the importance of values, time management, mentoring, guidance, and the challenges and responsibilities of leading the education department. They also sought advice on preparing for real-life situations.

Addressing them, Singla stressed the need to maintain a healthy balance between mental and physical well-being, noting the growing importance of emotional health among students. He highlighted effective time management and encouraged students to develop clarity of purpose early in life.

He said his elder brother had been his mentor and role model, offering consistent guidance on his journey to becoming a civil servant.
