A Look Back: Hundreds Of Student Handouts & 11 Chapters From Our “ELL Teacher’s Toolbox 2.0” Are Now Freely Available Online
(I’m republishing my best posts from the first half of 2025. You can see the entire list of them here)
Our 600 page ELL Teacher’s Toolbox 2.0 was published last week!
Thanks to Valentina Gonzalez, Carol Salva and Stephen Fleenor for contributing chapters to it!
And, if you are among the many people who have purchased it already, we’d appreciate if you submitted an Amazon review. Even though the first edition (which our publisher tells us has sold over 50,000 copies!) has hundreds of reviews, those don’t “rollover” to new edition.
We couldn’t go over 600 pages, so we had to put eleven bonus chapters online. They, along with hundreds of student handouts from the book, are now freely available online – no registration required.
In order to access them, just go to the publisher’s website for the book. (there’s a QR Code for it in the book itself).
The website looks like this, and you click “downloads” (circled here). After you click on “Downloads,” you see two separate files – one is for the student handouts, and the other is for the chapters and other resources:
In the very unlikely event “downloads” doesn’t immediately show up on the page under the “Print” section, you may need to click on the “O-Book” tab (circled below) in order for the “Downloads” (also circled below) to show up:
