
NIMS group of institutions founder A P Majeed Khan dies, ETEducation
T’puram: Noted educationist and founder of NIMS group of institutions, A P Majeed Khan, passed away on Tuesday. He was 91.
Majeed was the chairman of NIMS Medicity, a hospital in Neyyattinkara. He was a respected figure who played a key role in placing Neyyattinkara firmly on Kerala’s educational map.
According to family sources, Khan’s mortal remains were kept for public homage at his residence in Neyyattinkara. On Wednesday morning, the body will be taken to Thuckalay University for public viewing. It will then be brought back to his residence, where public can pay their last respects between 12 noon and 3pm. The funeral will be held on Wednesday evening.
He is survived by his son and NIMS MD Faisal Khan.
