Bennett University’s Global AI Summit sets agenda for research, ETEducation

As 2025 inches to a close and AI theme continues to buzz across the world, higher education institutions such as Bennett University continuing to set agenda with their research initiatives.

BU organised a three-day Global AI Summit 2025 that brought together leading experts, researchers and industry pioneers from across the world to discuss and present papers on future of AI in the years to come.

The International Conference on BU campus from Nov 19 to 21, brought together global academic and corporate leaders to lay a definitive blueprint for India’s role in the global AI market, projected to surpass 1.8 trillion dollars by 2030.

The summit kicked off with a high-profile ceremony featuring addresses from BU leadership and international guests of honour from Microsoft and Apple and other global giants. Highlight was formal memorandum of understanding signed between BU and University of Exeter, a leading global institution, emphasising the strategic importance of enhancing international learning and cooperation.

The event’s international prestige was clear from the roster of speakers, which included esteemed academics from Northwestern University, Sussex University and Swinburne University of Technology, among others. Global expertise was AI paired effectively with national strength, as experts from India’s premier institutions like IITs and NITs, served as session chairs.

A major highlight of the event was Project Showcase 2.0, a massive exhibition which featured 5+ tracks and showcased over 100+ cutting-edge student projects to an audience of 600+ participants, demonstrating the vast potential of next generation of AI developers.

Technical tracks showcased highly selective research, with only 295 papers accepted for presentation from over 1,850 global submissions. These papers, covering pivotal areas like AI in cybersecurity, deep learning in healthcare and quantum-inspired systems, are slated for publication in Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’s (IEEE) Xplore and indexing by SCOPUS.

Focus shifted to real-world application on day two, with keynotes from global organisations addressing the ethical and strategic deployment of AI across cybersecurity, healthcare, and governance. Industry leaders from Google showcased latest revolutionary AI Models. The summit also championed diversity, hosting the inspiring IEEE Women in Engineering Meet & Greet.

The final day concluded with a high-impact panel featuring leaders from Pepsico, Hitachi’s GlobalLogic and Tata Consultancy Services, focusing on emerging trends and organisational impact. By uniting global academic excellence and corporate innovation, the Global AI Summit cemented Bennett University‘s role in driving the discussion around responsible and impactful technological progress.
