
IIM-Indore among top 100 business schools globally for its academic excellence, ETEducation
Indore: The 18th Eduniversal World Convention concluded on Wednesday at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I), marking three days of engaging discussions on the future of global business education. The event welcomed over 150 deans and directors from more than 50 countries, all gathered to explore the integration of ethics, sustainability, and social impact into management education.The convention was centred around the theme, Bridging Purpose and Performance – Business Education as a Force for Good. Participants focused on how business schools can carry academic excellence with a tangible social impact, all while preparing future leaders for the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
Delegates had the opportunity to visit the Indian Institute of Technology, Indore campus and Tata Consultancy Services. Through engaging discussions with senior leaders and tours of innovation labs, attendees gained insights into cutting-edge digital solutions and sustainable business practices that are shaping the future of the global IT industry.
A highlight of the event was the Eduniversal Gala Awards Ceremony, which recognised the top five business schools from each of the nine global zones based on peer voting in the 2025 Global Deans’ Vote Survey. Notably, the top business schools from Central Asia included the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B), Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C), Indian School of Business (ISB), and Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I).
On the second day, the Eduniversal Palmes of Excellence Ceremony honoured top-performing business schools worldwide for their academic excellence. IIM-I reached a significant milestone, being elevated to the 5 Palmes of Excellence in the Eduniversal Rankings, placing it among the top 100 business schools globally.
IIM-I director professor Himanshu Rai said, “Being recognised among the top 100 business schools globally with the 5 Palmes of Excellence is a testament to our collective vision and purpose. At IIM-I, we see management education as a force for good, one that shapes ethical, compassionate, and globally aware leaders. This milestone strengthens our resolve to keep pushing boundaries in research, innovation, and impact while staying rooted in our core values of integrity and inclusivity.”
Additionally, Eduniversal announced Cabo Verde as the 154th country to join its Best Business School Ranking, marking a significant expansion of the Eduniversal family since its inception in 2008.
