Google has been trying very hard to do something useful with Artificial Intelligence, and they have failed in every attempt except for one – NotebookLM. (see I Think Google Might Have Finally Used AI To Create Something Useful With This NotebookLM Update).

Though I haven’t used it extensively yet, it seems obvious that it could make creating a new college course or writing a book a lot easier and more time efficient.

They just announced two new developments with it.

First, NotebookLM is now available as a phone app.

Secondly, soon (they didn’t give a date), it will be able to present the information you upload into it in a visual way.

I’m looking forward to see other updates.  They’d do better to put most of their AI energy into NotebookLM and not into their other efforts.
